Now becoming a Principles of
Safety Management© (PSM) graduate is as easy as turning on your
computer! The PSM© program which was developed by the Florida
Association of Safety Councils, is designed to help achieve
improvement in safety performance. As governmental safety
regulations increase, more and more companies are assigning
individuals to safety positions. Most new safety personnel have
little or no formal safety training and the PSM fills that gap. PSM
graduates receive a broad spectrum of loss control and safety
management training covering theories, proven cost reduction
methods, and implementation.
To become a PSM graduate you must complete 40 hours worth of CORE
credit courses and 10 hours worth of Elective credit courses.
